We have been there several times, but this time only because we had a voucher (for a 10 euro discount!) That he did NOT want to accept, we were treated very rude. The waiter then discussed very loudly in front of all the other guests with us that we really felt very uncomfortable. That just doesn't work, after all, we are still guests who leave their money there. We were no longer served by him, but he sent his colleague to us. That was guaranteed to be the last time we visited this restaurant and both my friends and family would rather support other restaurants in the current situation!

An order for 2 pizzas and 2 starters was placed via Lieferando on a Sunday evening at 5:50 p.m. Called at 7:30 p.m. because the order was still not there, I got the statement that it will come now. At 20:25 the order was still not there. Bottomless cheek

very pleasant and friendly relaxed atmosphere, it is definitely worth looking out over the pizza plate and ordering from the daily menu. We were there in December 19 for six and at the end of January 20 for four, the restaurant was not fully booked on both days, which surprises me, because the very good first impression was confirmed on the second visit: with fresh, very good and consistent ingredients honestly prepared and finely seasoned, really tasty dishes (e.g. sea bass). Someone can cook here and at fair prices. Conclusion: Highly recommended, I / we will come back!

The tastiest "Italian" from Erlangen. Fresh, excellent quality and really well cooked. Also one of the really few restaurants in Erlangen that also look good and do not exude this rustic 80s "charm". Always happy!

The food was delicious and the prices okay. However, it was a negative note that 1 in 2 service workers watched football on their mobile phones almost permanently and the second service staff was pretty much left alone. Accordingly, everything had to go fast. In addition, a service person in the kitchen smoked. Absolutely unreasonable for me.

I am biased. I have to give this a 5 because it's my favourite place to eat in Erlangen and I've known Domenico, the owner, for several years. What does Gionti do especially good: they have some very clever dishes, some with homemade pasta, good steak and very good fish. It's a notch above the other numerous Italian restaurants in the region, yet friendly and comfortable. Domenico is always chatty and good fun, and will often join you for a drink when it gets late. A few jolly good wines too...

Very good varied food. Great day ticket. The one is not necessarily the friendliness in person, but the rest of the staff is very nice and hard-working. We ate very well at eight!

Nice selection on the daily menu recommendations. Had tagliatelle with truffles. Very delicious!
